At Saint Stephen Ministry Church of God in Christ, we believe in the power of God's love, the divinity of Jesus Christ, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We believe that through faith and prayer, we can overcome any obstacle and live a life of purpose and meaning.

Pastor Edward L. Martin:
Was born in Charleston County in 1966, and was reared in Goose Creek by his parents Lee Albert Martin and the LATE Nancy W. Martin.
Pastor Martin is married to Mrs. Wanda Gail Cooper-Martin:
Blessed to this union ,are the proud parents of three children:
Two daughters Da'Shawna, Shakira, and a son Xavier Edward Martin
Education:
Pastor Martin has achieved the following:
A 1984 graduate from Goose Creek High School in Goose Creek, SC/
1995-Received Training from Orangeburg--Calhoun Training School in Orangeburg, SC/ 1992- Licensed as a Minister 1998-Ordained as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ in 1999-he did further studies at Rhema Bible College in Summerville, SC. and in
2008 enrolled in the North Carolina College of Theology, Charleston Campus to obtain additional credits-
He graduated on June 5th 2009 in Wilmington, NC and received his Associate Degree in Biblical studies.
In March of 2006
Pastor Martin was Appointed Pastor of the Saint Stephen Church of God in Christ in Walterboro, SC. Under the Leadership of Bishop Johnie J. Johnson, Prelate Emeritus
He serves as the South Carolina Jurisdictional Chief Adjutant (Armor Bearer). Under the Directive of Bishop William A. Prioleau, Prelate
Pastor Martin is a member of the National Adjutancy of the Church of God in Christ.
Pastor Martin’s employment: May 1982 (at the age of 16)- May 2014 (32 years) at Piggly Wiggly Carolina Company Warehouse-Summerville, SC/ Worked as a Tractor Trailer Driver. 1996- 2014 (19 years)
In June 2014 his occupation changed to Southeastern Freight Line as a P&D Driver until this present date.
